Please take a moment to read over these few friendly reminders:

The lock combination is 2659

Court Reservations:  If you are playing, please ensure that your tag is on the reservation board. That way we can tell whether you are a Long Point resident or not. Please use your bronze plastic disc. If you don’t have one, please notify George Aunger at gcaunger@yahoo.ca. Reservation process is identified on the board. Reservations cannot be made prior to 8 pm for the following day.

Locks:  The locks are to ensure only authorized Long Point association members are using our courts. Obviously, this will not keep someone from hopping over the fence but at least some of us will question people using a court with a locked gate and no tag on the board.

Shoes: Please use only proper soft soled tennis shoes. This will preserve our tennis court surface. Also, if there are stones, please remove them. There will be nylon brooms available to help with this.

Rollers for wet court:  There is a roller hanging from the fence in each court. If the court is wet, you can use a roller to push the water off the courts surface. The rollers work best when they are saturated. Note that they must always be hanging or they will develop flat spots. The courts should be perfectly dry before playing otherwise injury may occur.

Pickleball:  Please continue to carry Pickleball nets from either end to protect nets and tennis court surface. Net support legs have been modified to ensure they remain on while being transported. New hooks have been added on the Reservation board for Pickleball so 2 matches can take place on Court B simultaneously. Enjoy, stretch and play safe.

Please continue to keep our courts and area around the courts, free of debris and garbage. Your help is greatly appreciated!
